Brynheulog
WELCOME
Welcome to John Manning's home pages. Brynheulog is Welsh for "Sunny Hill" and is the name of my home near Cardiff, which is the capital city of Wales. The country of Wales is part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and now has its own Assembly.  Wales is a beautiful, hilly, fertile country with a history of coal mining and agriculture. The mining is now almost gone but the agriculture continues, accompanied by high-tech industry such as electronics manufacturing. Tourism is also popular. Welsh people are renowned for their love of Rugby football and singing. They have a national orchestra and opera company; for more on the orchestra see my Interests section. This interior view of Brynheulog was created using AutoCAD.  It gives a clue to some of my interests. Music and wine are easy to spot; the picture over the piano is of Tossa de Mar on the Costa Brava of Spain, one of my favourite Mediterranean snorkelling spots.
