My website contains many of my photographs, all reduced in size. The photographic pages have examples that I have reduced to approximately 600X400 pixels at 100 dpi. Some early photos were taken with a Canon EOS 500N plus Tamron 28-200 mm ultra-compact zoom. 200 ASA colour negative film was used. My first digital camera, in 2001, was a Sony Cybershot DSC-P1 with an underwater case. As of 2023 we use a Lumix FZ330 and Nikon Coolpix 1000; and for undesea Olympus TG6 , Lumix LX15, TZ30 and TZ40 with underwater cases.I have tried some panoramic shots by combining several photographs on a computer. Nowadays cameras produce panoramas automatically. Underwater, the TZ30 and 40 are excellent for diving; snorkelling, I find it difficult to view LCD screens in the brighter conditions, but in 2021 I found the Lumix LX15 with Ikelite case a near ideal underwater camera with full UHD video capability; The Olympus TG6 has acceptable LCD visibility, but its UHD video is sometimes smeary in low light. For a while I had 35mm negatives transferred by Kodak to Photo CD, but later I scanned them myself using a Canon CanoScan 2700F film scanner, which was not as good but very much cheaper. I recently re-scanned the negatives with an Epson V370 flatbed scanner, which was very successful. For video I once used a Sony HDR-HC3 HD camcorder, and now the cameras. with some clips from a Sony Xperia phone. For editing video and making slideshows Cyberlink PowerDirector is my standard, with DaVinci Resolve for colour adjustments. The finished product is written to blu-ray as a backup, but primarily the file is played by a LG OLED UHD TV from my home network. These are a few of my favourite pictures. St. Paul’s Bay, Rhodes
