AutoCAD     I learned AutoCAD as a 2-D drawing tool for my work at BBC Wales designing lighting for television programmes. Subsequently I enjoyed using the package for 3-D models and for exporting to 3D Studio for more intricate lighting, rendering and animation, and have also been able through tutoring to help others to use AutoCAD. If you would like to see examples please follow the link to my AutoCAD page. Snorkelling  Enjoying the beauty and marvels of the undersea world is a favourite hobby. While I have enjoyed SCUBA diving, there is much to be seen at the shallow depths reached by snorkelling and the better light makes photography easier. Music        Probably because I am such a poor pianist, collecting records has interested me for many years, and now compact discs, super audio CDs, blu-ray discs and DVDs have supplanted vinyl discs in my collection. I am an admirer of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and attend their concerts when possible. Recordings of the BBC NOW are available mainly on the Nimbus and BIS labels, and are well worth investigation. Follow the link to my music page for more. Photography        Since I did not develop my own film, or do any serious lighting for photographs, I cannot count myself a dedicated photographer, but I nevertheless enjoy trying to capture scenes of interest and beauty.
